Frankfurt am Main - HQ (House of Logistics & Mobility (HOLM), Hamburg
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

As a (Junior) Marketing Manager, you help shape how Rail-Flow shows up in the market – at trade fairs and events, on LinkedIn, in our newsletter, and in the way we talk about our products. The focus is on our events: you grow step by step into full ownership, from the first idea to the follow-up. In a small team, you take on real tasks, see your results go live, and get regular feedback.

  • Event organisation – You take ownership of our events: concept, planning, budget, suppliers, on-site delivery, and follow-up – including railXchange, our own conference on digitalisation and AI in rail logistics.
  • Trade fairs – You plan and support our trade fair presence, from booth design and team preparation through to lead follow-up.
  • Content creation – You create content for LinkedIn – from copywriting and visuals to short animated videos.
  • Campaigns – You develop your own ideas and concepts for campaigns and bring them to life.
  • Website – You keep our websites up to date and publish content independently, using the Webflow CMS for rail-flow.com and WordPress for simplydeliver.com.
  • Branding & marketing materials – You design branding and marketing materials in line with our corporate identity.
  • Market & competitor research – You research trends, competitors, and developments in the rail and logistics industry and prepare your findings for the team.
  • Newsletter & CRM – You look after our monthly newsletter and keep our CRM data up to date.
  • PR & external communications – You support our press and public relations work.

Your profile

  • Education – A completed degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a similar field.
  • Experience – First experience in marketing, communications, or PR – for example from internships, a working student role, or your first years on the job.
  • Event experience – You have already worked on events or trade fairs and now want to take on this area yourself.
  • Ownership – You pick up projects, make decisions, and see things through reliably.
  • Organisational skills – You handle several projects at once and stay structured even at a fast pace.
  • Industry interest – You are curious about rail freight and logistics. Prior knowledge is not required.
  • Communication skills – Excellent written and spoken communication in German and English.
  • IT skills – Confident with Microsoft Office and social media, ideally with experience in Canva, Vimeo, Jira, and Confluence.
  • AI mindset – First experience with AI tools such as Claude or GPT, including prompting. Knowledge of Claude Design and HubSpot is a plus, but not a must.
  • Willingness to travel – You are happy to travel occasionally for trade fairs and events.
  • Team spirit – You work proactively and enjoy being part of a team.
