Growth Manager (m/f/x) – Rail-Flow Marketplaces

Your mission
As a Growth Manager (m/f/x), you will drive new business for the Rail-Flow Marketplace, including modules such as Purchase & Tender Management (PTM) and the Resource Sharing Broker (RSB), across Europe. Your strong regional focus will be on DACH, Poland, and France.

You own the full sales cycle—from identification and outreach to qualification and closing—and ensure a structured transition into Customer Success so that new customers quickly realize value.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactive new customer acquisition across all channels: events and trade fairs, associations, social selling, phone/email outreach, partnerships, and network building.
  • Target groups: shippers with rail potential, railways, and rail freight forwarders.
  • End-to-end sales ownership: discovery, demos, business case development, proposals, negotiation, and contract signing.
  • Pipeline management and forecasting; close collaboration with Marketing (campaigns, events) and Product (value cases, customer feedback).
  • Structured handover to Customer Success Management (CSM) after contract signature, including customer goals, use cases, and success criteria.
  • Customer onboarding is led by CSM (training, best practices, go-live support, ramp-up); you support and accompany the onboarding phase as needed to ensure a smooth start and alignment on expectations.
  • Close collaboration with CSM during the early customer phase to ensure fast adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • CRM ownership in HubSpot: maintain accurate account and deal documentation, activity tracking, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and regular reporting on activities, conversion rates, and sales cycles.
Your profile
  • Seniority is open: your results matter more than years on your CV.
  • Strong hunter mindset: proactive, confident in cold outreach, comfortable on stage, and persistent in driving deals to close.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or logistics/transport is a strong plus; marketplace or software solutions are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in across all decision-making levels.
  • Strong negotiation skills, resilience, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Highly motivated, structured, and able to work independently.
  • Data-driven working style with solid CRM experience; HubSpot knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
