Your mission
As a Sales Engineer at Rail-Flow, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between our innovative rail logistics solutions and the specific needs of our customers. You will work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to deliver tailored value propositions, support the sales process from first contact to successful closing, and ensure that our products are perfectly aligned with customer requirements.
- Customer Needs Analysis & Solution Design: Assess prospect and new customer situations, design tailored solution proposals with strong value arguments, and prepare as well as deliver customer-specific demos of Rail-Flow products.
- Tender & Project Management: Manage simple and complex tenders and customer inquiries for Rail-Flow and partner products, create proposals and presentations, and develop implementation concepts in close coordination with engineering teams.
- Technical Consulting & Requirements Gathering: Identify and analyze customer needs, communicate requirements to engineering teams, and collaboratively define project plans during the pre-sales phase.
- Product & Process Enablement: Contribute to product roadmaps, model customer processes, define IT requirements, and continuously refine standard demo scenarios tailored to different customer groups and use cases.
- Sales Support: Support the sales team from initial contact through qualification and development to successful closing, and assist with product testing when required.
